ArrivalStar and Melvino Boards TELUS International

On Wednesday, October 17, 2012, ArrivalStar and Melvino Technologies (plaintiffs) recorded a suit against TELUS International (defendant) for patent infringement in the U.S. District Court of Southern Florida (case no. 1:12-cv-23778).


TELUS is a telecommunications company that provides telecommunications products and services including internet access, voice, entertainment, video, and satellite television.

According to the complaint, the defendant’s products Telus Asset Tracker, Telus Resource Tracker, Telus Fleet Tracker, Telus Track And Dispatch, Telus Tracking And Dispatch, Telus Fleet Complete, Telus Alert And Assist, Telus Remote Fleet Tracker, Telus Kid Find, and Telus Navigator allegedly infringe the above mentioned patents. These systems and methods are utilized for tracking vehicle locations and messaging their status to appropriate recipients.
