Rotatable Technologies Brings Lawsuit against Citgo Petroleum



Plaintiff: Rotatable Technologies

Defendant: Citgo Petroleum

Summary: A patent infringement case (2:13-cv-00108) was filed in the Texas Eastern District Court on 9th of Feb. The patent involved in this suit is US6326978 entitled Display Method for Selectively Rotating Windows on a Computer Display is currently assigned[i] to Rotatable Technologies (sourced from Maxval’s Assignment Database). The patent was issued on December 04, 2001 and expires[ii] on April 20, 2019. 

The complaint states that defendant’s applications for iOS including Citgo Lubricants and Store Finder infringe the patent-in-suit. The following cases were filed on the same day involving the same patent against other assignees:
