Trebro Manufacturing Inc. is a private company, manufacturing farm equipment. Firefly Equipment is engaged in designing and manufacturing parts for turf harvesters.
The complaint says that, Aposhian was an employee of the Trebro when he wrote a computer program called AutoSlab. He left the company and founded a new company Firefly Equipment in the year 2010. Firefly started making use of the program ‘ProSlab’ in connection with sod harvesting machines, which infringes the above patents. 
Plaintiff in the past has filed a patent infringement case (1:2004cv00150) against Jacobsen, Division of Textron Inc. on Nov 17, 2004, which is closed.
