Blue Spike is a security infrastructure company for multimedia creators and distributors who need to address the unauthorized duplication of their intellectual property - music, images, video, sensitive documents - as well as the unauthorized commercial resale of their works. Their products and services include secure digital watermarking applications and Giovanni media security system.
Visible World provides television and online advertising software. Its products include intelliSpot connect, an addressable video network, intelliSpot insight for measurement and optimization, intelliSpot dashboard for campaign management and intelliSpot video, a customization engine. The company serves automotive, media/entertainment, cable/telecom, and retail industries. It was founded in 1999 and is based in New York.
As in complaint:
Plaintiff alleges that defendant designs and develops software, applications, systems, and technology for targeted television advertising solutions including, it’s Smart TV Program Remind App (Accused Product), which infringe the methods claimed in the patents-in-suit. Smart TV Program Remind App, enabled for automatic content recognition on a Smart TV makes it easy for the viewers to set a reminder for the promoted show with a single click on their TV remote and displays a friendly reminder a minute before the show is about to start.
