BT - Telinit End Patent Dispute

Case Summary:  Patent infringement case was filed against BT for infringing US patent number 6192123 entitled Method and apparatus for initiating telephone calls using a data network, issued on Feb 20, 2001 and expiring[i] by Apr 14, 2017. The patent is currently assigned[ii] to Telinit Technologies (source: MaxVal’s Assignment Database). 

The complaint stated that defendants’ telephony services including BT OneVoice, Ribbit Mobile and Ribbit for Salesforce infringe the ‘123 patent
.
The case has now reached an end where Telinit and BT have agreed for a dismissal. Upon their request, Judge ordered the case to be dismissed and all the claims asserted by Telinit against BT were dismissed with prejudice.
