Motorola Settles Case against Digitech Image

In Dec 2012, Digitech Image sued Motorola claiming they have infringed a patent US6128415, entitled Device profiles for use in a digital image processing system. The patent infringement case was filed in District Court of California.  The patent was issued on Oct 03, 2000 and expires[i] by Sep 06, 2016. The accused products were Droid Razr M, Droid Razr HD, Razr MAX HD, Photon Q and Atrix HD.

The case concluded on Jun 25, as the parties have reported to court that they have settled the case. Judge Cormac J. Carney ordered dismissal of Digitech’s claims against Motorola with prejudice and dismissal of Motorola’s counterclaims against Digitech without prejudice, as the parties requested for dismissal. All attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses are to be borne by the respective party. The terms of settlement are undisclosed.
